Requirements
- 5+ years of professional software development experience.
- Exposure to accounting software, financial reporting systems, or treasury management platforms.
- Strong proficiency in an object-oriented programming language.
- Knowledge of async programming patterns, ORM frameworks, and SOLID design principles.
- Experience designing and building features that span frontend and backend layers.
- Understanding of distributed systems principles such as event-driven architecture and service boundaries.
- Experience writing unit and integration tests using xUnit or similar frameworks.
- Database design and development experience in relational and non-relational systems (PostgreSQL, MS SQL, or MongoDB).
- B.S. in Computer Science, Finance, Economics, or equivalent practical experience.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain hedge accounting features supporting effectiveness assessment, journal entry generation, and reporting workflows.
- Collaborate with Product and Delivery on user stories, sprint planning, and supporting documentation within an Agile development lifecycle.
- Gather and incorporate client feedback to translate operational pain points into platform improvements.
- Build and maintain automated testing frameworks that ensure the consistency and accuracy of accounting outputs and reporting data.
- Contribute to a high standard of engineering craft on the team, sharing best practices and supporting the growth of less experienced engineers.
