Requirements
- 1-3 years of professional Android development experience, ideally including Kotlin.
- Experience shipping and maintaining production Android code.
- Solid grasp of the Android lifecycle, threading, and Gradle.
- Familiarity with testing practices such as unit, integration, and instrumentation testing.
- Knowledge of CI/CD for mobile development.
- Ability to debug across a wide matrix of devices, OS versions, and third-party app environments.
- Clear communication skills for collaborating with internal teams and customers.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and ship features and fixes to the Android SDK.
- Contribute to other mobile SDKs including iOS, React Native, Expo, and Flutter.
- Develop backend services, infrastructure, and embedded web UI for features such as in-app messaging, universal linking, and geofencing.
- Diagnose and resolve SDK issues reported by customers.
- Write clean, well-tested code and participate in code and design reviews.
- Collaborate with product and engineering teams to ensure consistent tracking and messaging behavior.
- Create documentation, sample apps, and integration guides.
