Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- 5+ years of experience in sales engineering, solutions engineering, software engineering, product management, technical leadership, or a comparable technical role.
- Demonstrated experience deploying complex technology solutions for the U.S. Army.
- Proven track record of successfully delivering solutions in complex, multi-stakeholder environments.
- Hands-on experience or strong knowledge of cloud infrastructure technologies such as AWS or Azure.
- Demonstrated understanding of DoD cybersecurity requirements, Risk Management Framework (RMF), and cybersecurity best practices.
- Experience supporting complex security accreditation activities, including RMF and ATO processes.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to remain effective under pressure and ambiguity.
- Demonstrated ability to rapidly prototype solutions in response to customer and mission requirements.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong collaboration skills and the ability to work effectively across multidisciplinary teams.
- Familiarity with active or passive RFID hardware is preferred.
- Experience with satellite-based backhaul systems, secure VPNs, and LAN/WAN infrastructure is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical leadership and oversight for the deployment of an advanced real-time asset tracking solution supporting U.S. Army operations.
- Engage with U.S. Army and other DoD stakeholders to understand mission requirements and translate operational needs into effective technical solutions.
- Lead technical communication and coordination between internal teams, senior leadership, and key customer representatives.
- Oversee RMF and ATO compliance activities, including system architecture documentation, security-control management, POA&M development, and coordination with ISSMs and ISSOs.
- Conduct technical reviews of system implementation plans to verify alignment with contract requirements, customer expectations, cybersecurity standards, and industry best practices.
- Support the integration of active and passive RFID technologies, cloud environments, software applications, and related infrastructure.
- Identify technical risks, resolve complex implementation challenges, and recommend practical solutions in fast-moving environments.
- Help develop rapid prototypes and translate emerging technologies into mission-ready capabilities.
- Mentor junior and non-technical personnel while providing technical guidance and fostering effective collaboration across disciplines.
- Maintain strong relationships with customers and stakeholders while ensuring technical objectives and delivery commitments are achieved.
