Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required; degree in Paralegal Studies or a Paralegal Certificate preferred.
  • 5+ years of litigation paralegal experience, preferably supporting discovery in complex commercial, product liability, or mass tort litigation.
  • Demonstrated experience managing all phases of litigation, including discovery and document productions.
  • Experience utilizing Technology-Assisted Discovery and document review platforms (e.g., Relativity).
  • Experience managing large document collections and coordinating discovery workflows across multiple matters simultaneously.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and project management skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently, prioritize competing deadlines, and manage complex litigation assignments.
  • High degree of professionalism, sound judgment, integrity, and discretion.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and coordinate the written discovery phases of litigation under the direction of attorneys.
  • Utilize Technology-Assisted Discovery and Technology-Assisted Review tools, analytics, and eDiscovery platforms.
  • Oversee the organization, maintenance, and quality control of discovery databases, document repositories, and evidentiary records.
  • Assist litigation discovery efforts by identifying, reviewing, organizing, and producing physical and electronically stored information.
  • Coordinate complex document preservation, collection, processing, review, and production activities with attorneys, clients, and vendors.
  • Collaborate with attorneys to develop and implement discovery strategies.
  • Prepare discovery responses, privilege logs, and exhibit lists.
  • Maintain organized case files and evidentiary materials in accordance with firm policies.
  • Mentor and provide guidance to junior paralegals and legal support staff.
