Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- At least 5 years of hands-on experience in software test automation.
- Strong expertise in Selenium WebDriver.
- Strong programming skills in Java, preferably with enterprise application support experience.
- Experience with Java build tools such as Maven or Gradle.
- Strong understanding of Selenium locator strategies, including XPath and CSS, and handling advanced browser interactions.
- Practical experience with TestNG or JUnit for test execution and assertions.
- Experience with reporting and data-handling tools such as Extent Reports, Allure, and Apache POI.
- Familiarity with Git and CI/CD platforms such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps.
- Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies and defect-management tools such as JIRA.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable, reusable automation frameworks using Selenium WebDriver.
- Develop functional UI automation scripts for complex web applications including dynamic elements and multi-window workflows.
- Build and maintain automation using framework patterns such as Page Object Model (POM), Data-Driven, and Hybrid architectures.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define automation requirements and investigate test results.
- Conduct code and automation-framework reviews while establishing testing best practices.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to automation strategy improvements.
