Requirements
- Significant leadership experience as a CISO, VP of Security, Head of Security, or equivalent in a high-growth technology environment.
- Deep hands-on experience securing AI and machine learning systems, including LLM architectures and production AI applications.
- Strong experience building and operating cloud-native security programs across AWS, GCP, and/or Azure.
- Expertise in zero-trust architectures, identity and access management, and secure multi-tenant environments.
- Deep understanding of threat modeling, red teaming, adversarial testing, security monitoring, and incident response.
- Familiarity with AI-specific attack vectors including prompt injection, model inversion, and data poisoning.
- Proven track record of building scalable security, compliance, and governance programs.
- Demonstrated experience contributing to security products, platforms, or tooling shipped to customers.
- Strong technical capability to write code, configure security systems, and troubleshoot production environments.
- Strong product and commercial judgment with excellent stakeholder management skills.
Responsibilities
- Define and execute the organization’s security strategy across internal infrastructure, data, cloud environments, AI systems, and client-facing solutions.
- Build security into AI agent systems by designing guardrails, monitoring, policy enforcement, audit mechanisms, and anomaly detection.
- Establish and evolve security governance and compliance programs such as SOC 2 and ISO, while supporting readiness for FedRAMP.
- Design and operate security infrastructure hands-on, including zero-trust architectures, identity and access management, and secure data pipelines.
- Lead threat modeling, incident response, red team exercises, and adversarial testing, with focus on AI-specific threats like prompt injection and data poisoning.
- Develop internal security tooling and identify opportunities to transform security capabilities into standalone products.
- Partner with engineering and product teams to embed security throughout the development lifecycle.
- Represent the security function in client conversations and industry forums.
