Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Biostatistics, Epidemiology, Public Health, Economics, Mathematics, Engineering, or Computer Science.
- 3 to 5 years of relevant professional experience.
- Minimum of 2 years of hands-on SAS or other statistical programming experience.
- Working knowledge of healthcare systems, specifically Medicare/Medicaid.
- Familiarity with healthcare databases and coding systems.
- Experience with health-related analytic research and quality improvement methodologies (e.g., ISO, CQI, TQM, Six Sigma, Lean) is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Utilize tools like SAS, SQL, Excel, R, and Python to manipulate and analyze data, identifying trends, variances, and outliers.
- Collaborate with analysts to create tabular and graphical presentations for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Design and implement re-measurement strategies to assess the efficacy of healthcare interventions.
- Develop epidemiologically sound indicators of the quality of care and benchmark against external standards.
- Mentor junior data analysts on technical aspects and best practices.
- Support the onboarding of new associates.
- Develop code to join multiple relational database tables for complex analysis.
