Requirements
- Extensive professional experience as a Senior Frontend or Full-Stack Engineer in large-scale production environments.
- Expert knowledge in JavaScript and TypeScript.
- Deep experience with React and NextJS or comparable modern frontend frameworks.
- Sound understanding of web performance, accessibility (WCAG), and responsive design.
- Experience mentoring junior and mid-level engineers.
- Strong communication skills and experience working with design, product, and content teams.
- Full software development lifecycle experience, including testing, CI/CD, and automation.
- Experience with MACH/composable architectures is desirable.
- Knowledge of Core Web Vitals and frontend performance monitoring is desirable.
- Familiarity with AWS or GCP and infrastructure as code is a plus.
- Experience with event-driven or distributed systems and containerized environments.
Responsibilities
- Make frontend architectural decisions including component design, state management, and application structure.
- Lead complex implementations using React, NextJS, and TypeScript at scale.
- Contribute to and influence shared design systems and frontend standards.
- Provide technical leadership through code reviews, mentoring, and pair programming.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with product, design, and content teams.
- Ensure high standards for usability, accessibility (WCAG), performance, and resilience.
- Consume and contribute to GraphQL and REST APIs, with potential contribution to Node.js backend services.
- Drive engineering best practices including testing strategies, performance optimization, and security.
