Requirements
- 5+ years of related experience in software development.
- Undergraduate degree in computer science or equivalent discipline or industry experience.
- Proficiency in Bash shell and Coreutils, Perl, Python, Go, Rust, and Java.
- Experience with container platforms including Kubernetes, Docker, Podman, AKS, and OpenShift.
- Cloud experience in Azure, AWS, or GCP.
- Database experience with Oracle and SQL.
- Ability to work within an Agile development model.
- Knowledge of large, complex systems.
- Experience with Linux SuSE, clustering (Heartbeat/Pacemaker), and networking (VLAN, Load Balancing).
- Experience with storage technologies (RAID, NAS, NFS, SAN) and web platforms (Apache, Tomcat).
Responsibilities
- Perform product development in accordance with company methodology.
- Perform software module requirement analysis, design, and test design.
- Implement software modules and unit tests, and conduct verification and validation.
- Design and recommend next generation platforms for cloud and on-premise deployments.
- Develop deployment systems for interdependent applications running on Linux and Kubernetes.
- Mentor team members and conduct peer reviews of requirements, designs, and code.
- Interface with customers and staff to gather requirements and troubleshoot product issues.
