Requirements
- 7+ years of cloud, systems, infrastructure, network, or solutions-architecture experience.
- 3+ years of hands-on Google Cloud experience in production or regulated environments.
- Strong knowledge of GCP services, Terraform, containers/Kubernetes, and Git-based CI/CD.
- Experience with hybrid networking.
- Ability to produce architecture diagrams and explain decisions to engineering and executive audiences.
- Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect certification preferred.
- Experience with Google Distributed Cloud, multi-cloud (AWS GovCloud / Azure Government), Vertex AI/RAG, or DevSecOps controls preferred.
Responsibilities
- Lead design and implementation of secure Google Cloud landing zones and resource hierarchies.
- Architect solutions using Compute Engine, GKE, Cloud Run, BigQuery, Vertex AI, and related services.
- Design hybrid connectivity, IAM architectures, Terraform modules, CI/CD/GitOps, and observability.
- Support Google Distributed Cloud and air-gapped environments.
- Conduct architecture workshops, design reviews, and customer briefings.
- Mentor engineers and contribute to proposals and technical volumes.
- Support RMF activities end-to-end.
