Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- 10+ years of professional software engineering experience, including significant experience in software architecture and cloud-native solution design.
- Deep expertise in microservices architecture, Domain-Driven Design (DDD), distributed systems, and enterprise integration patterns.
- Extensive hands-on experience with Kubernetes, container orchestration, and Docker.
- Strong proficiency in one or more backend programming languages such as Java, Go, C#, or Python.
- Strong knowledge of API design, asynchronous messaging, and event streaming technologies (e.g., Kafka, RabbitMQ).
- Strong expertise with at least one major cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, Pulumi, CloudFormation, or Bicep.
- Excellent leadership, communication, stakeholder management, and technical mentoring skills.
Responsibilities
- Define enterprise-wide microservices architecture standards, service boundaries, and domain-driven design (DDD) principles.
- Lead the modernization of legacy monolithic applications into scalable, independently deployable cloud-native services.
- Design secure, resilient, and highly available distributed systems using REST APIs, gRPC, asynchronous messaging, and event-driven architectures.
- Define and implement cloud-native platform capabilities, including Kubernetes, service mesh, API gateways, identity management, and observability.
- Establish CI/CD, GitOps, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and automated testing strategies.
- Partner with security teams to implement Zero Trust architecture and cloud governance.
- Lead architecture reviews, technical design sessions, and mentor senior engineering staff.
