Requirements
- Proven experience in white and black box manual testing of web applications.
- Proven experience with functional, system, regression, and integration testing.
- Proven experience developing test cases from user stories.
- Ability to execute and read complex SQL queries.
- Ability to analyze products for integration test scenarios.
- Proven experience with test management tools (X-Ray preferred).
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process.
- Experience in white box testing of RESTful APIs, SOAP APIs, and/or web services.
- Ability to multi-task under tight deadlines.
- Ability to document QA procedures and validate software release deployments.
- Proven experience in test planning, scheduling, and evaluation.
Responsibilities
- Own all Quality Assurance Engineering duties for UI and Server based application software testing.
- Estimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate testing activities.
- Create and maintain UI and Server based software test scripts.
- Implement and maintain a high-quality software testing framework.
- Interpret product requirements into test plans and develop test cases.
- Conduct software functionality, installation, performance, load, and usability testing.
- Liaise with internal teams to identify system requirements.
- Investigate causes of non-conforming software and train users on solutions.
- Track quality assurance metrics such as defect densities and open defect counts.
