Requirements
- Experience in large-scale distributed systems architecture.
- Proven experience at the Staff Architect or Principal Architect level.
- Very good knowledge of Java, Spring Boot, REST API, and microservices.
- Strong knowledge of AWS, cloud-native architectures, Docker, Terraform, and CI/CD.
- Experience with event-driven systems and synchronous/asynchronous integrations.
- Ability to design data architecture and customer event flows.
- Knowledge of security, IAM, OAuth/OIDC, and GDPR.
- Ability to create architectural documentation and lead decision-making processes (ADR, RFC).
- High communication competencies.
Responsibilities
- Define architectural direction for Acquisition & Retention solutions.
- Design architectures for loyalty, promotions, pricing, customer engagement, and personalization areas.
- Support key technical decisions regarding integrations, APIs, data systems, and event-driven architecture.
- Create and maintain architectural documentation including ADRs, RFCs, roadmaps, and target architectures.
- Conduct build vs. buy analyses and evaluate platforms and tools.
- Mentor engineers and technical leads.
- Support system modernization and reduction of architectural complexity.
- Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Data, Security, and Platform teams.
