Requirements
- Extensive professional experience with Databricks in corporate environments (Unity Catalog, Delta Lake, Databricks SQL).
- Expertise in designing integrations between Databricks and downstream applications, AI agents, and APIs.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Azure (identity, networking, compute, storage, monitoring).
- Practical experience delivering cloud infrastructure with Terraform.
- Hands-on experience with GitHub Enterprise, GitHub Actions, and Azure DevOps.
- Strong knowledge of secure software development and audit-ready engineering practices.
- Comprehensive understanding of cloud security (Key Vault, Managed Identities, RBAC, Private Endpoints).
- Fluent C1 level proficiency in English for daily work and recruitment.
- Knowledge of AI application development consuming Databricks data is a plus.
- Experience with GxP, CSV, CSA, or system validation in pharma or life sciences is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Design solution architecture for AI and data applications leveraging Databricks.
- Define data consumption patterns including Unity Catalog, Delta Lake, and access management.
- Collaborate with internal experts on Lakehouse architecture, governance, and platform constraints.
- Architect cloud solutions in Microsoft Azure including API, identity, networking, and storage.
- Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) patterns using Terraform.
- Support migration from Azure DevOps to GitHub Enterprise and define CI/CD standards via GitHub Actions.
- Create patterns for controlled releases, automated testing, and documentation compliant with GxP and audit requirements.
- Ensure security best practices using Key Vault, RBAC, Private Endpoints, and secret management.
- Mentor engineers and collaborate with cross-functional teams including data, AI, security, and business stakeholders.
