Requirements
- Strong proficiency in at least one high-level programming language, preferably Go and/or Java.
- Deep understanding of distributed systems, event-driven architectures, and microservices.
- Experience with concurrency and data processing.
- Comfort with AI-native development practices and AI tools.
- Experience with AWS and/or GCP.
- Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, Postgres, Redis, and Kafka (strongly preferred).
- Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional environment.
- Experience working with both local and remote teams across various time zones.
- Strong communication skills for liaison with product and engineering teams.
- Experience in developing security-related products (huge plus).
Responsibilities
- Design, build, test, document, deploy, and operate large-scale applications, primarily in Go and partially in Java.
- Architect high-volume, low-latency services capable of processing millions of events per second.
- Translate business and functional requirements into robust, scalable, operable solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable solutions.
- Improve system reliability and data integrity through observability, performance analysis, and capacity planning.
- Maintain existing codebase through refactoring and feature implementation.
- Evaluate and adopt new technologies for scale and reliability.
- Use AI-assisted engineering workflows to accelerate development.
- Lead technical discussions, design reviews, and provide high-quality code reviews.
- Mentor other engineers.
