Requirements
- Significant experience building production data systems with senior-level ownership of architecture decisions.
- Deep understanding of modern data platforms such as Snowflake, BigQuery, or Databricks.
- Hands-on knowledge of building scalable and secure data pipelines.
- Experience with orchestration and transformation frameworks like dbt.
- Proficiency with cloud infrastructure, specifically AWS or GCP.
- Strong understanding of data modeling best practices like Kimball, star schema, or Data Vault.
- Experience implementing streaming pipelines with Kafka, Flink, Redpanda, or similar.
- Excellent communication skills for client-facing presentation and stakeholder management.
- Results-oriented mindset with a bias for hands-on technical execution.
Responsibilities
- Architect and implement end-to-end modern data platforms.
- Build scalable and secure data ingestion and transformation pipelines.
- Design and optimize data models including star schema, Data Vault, and OBT.
- Implement and manage streaming and real-time systems using technologies like Kafka or Flink.
- Work directly with client stakeholders to scope requirements and present architectural decisions.
