Requirements
- Strong background in U.S. residential and/or commercial property management
- Previous experience managing or leading a property management team
- Proficiency with AppFolio or similar property management software
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
- Available to work in US time zones
- Available to start within 2 weeks from job offer
- Comfortable using time-trackers (e.g., Time Doctor)
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools and Google Workspace
- Own laptop/desktop, noise-cancelling headphones, and webcam
- Reliable internet connection (at least 50 Mbps)
- Available backup equipment in cases of power and internet outages
Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and provide guidance to junior on-site property managers, ensuring best practices are followed across the team
- Oversee tenant communications, lease renewals, and resolution of escalated tenant issues
- Assist in managing leasing activities, including advertising, coordinating with your on-site team for property showings, applicant screening, and drafting lease agreements
- Ensure compliance with lease terms, investigate violations, and address tenant disputes professionally
- Supervise vendor coordination for maintenance repairs and upgrades, and coordinate with the on-site property manager for larger renovation projects
- Collaborate with leadership on property marketing strategies and operational improvements
- Oversee properties’ financial performance, including drafting budgets, tracking actuals to budget, and dictating strategies to maximize financial outcomes
