Requirements
- Currently studying towards or recently completed a degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field.
- Proven experience building with AI tools (e.g., Claude, ChatGPT) and/or automations, scripts, or advanced spreadsheet solutions.
- High level of attention to detail and ability to verify data accuracy.
- Ability to independently learn new systems such as GitHub, MCP-based integrations, and finance software.
- Proactive mindset with the ability to identify bottlenecks and design workflows to replace manual tasks.
- Fluent in written and spoken English.
- Availability to work during European business hours.
- Experience with accounting software or ERP systems (nice to have).
- Exposure to Python, SQL, or API-based automation (nice to have).
- Prior startup or fast-paced work experience (nice to have).
Responsibilities
- Run core finance processes: invoice processing, month-end reporting, payroll data preparation, expense management, and intercompany recharges.
- Automate repetitive tasks using Claude, ChatGPT, GitHub, and the Soda MCP or smart spreadsheet design.
- Build verification checks and reconciliations into every automation to ensure accuracy.
- Document processes clearly so they can be followed by colleagues and AI agents.
- Support the wider Finance team with reporting, analysis, and ad-hoc projects across international entities.
