Requirements
- Currently studying or recently completed a degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field.
- Proven experience building automations, scripts, or advanced spreadsheet solutions.
- Demonstrable experience using AI tools (e.g., Claude, ChatGPT) with verified output.
- High accuracy and strong verification habits regarding financial data.
- Ability to work independently with new tools such as GitHub and MCP-based integrations.
- Proactive mindset with the ability to identify manual bottlenecks and implement improvements.
- Fluent in written and spoken English.
- Ability to work during European business hours.
- Familiarity with accounting software like Exact Online or QuickBooks (preferred).
- Exposure to Python, SQL, or API-based automation (preferred).
- Prior startup or fast-paced work experience (preferred).
Responsibilities
- Execute core finance processes including invoice processing, month-end reporting, payroll preparation, and expense management.
- Automate manual finance workflows using AI tools (Claude, ChatGPT), GitHub, and the Soda MCP.
- Develop and implement automated reconciliations and controls to verify the output of all finance processes.
- Create comprehensive process documentation suitable for both human colleagues and AI agents.
- Support the broader finance team with reporting, analysis, and ad-hoc projects for international entities.
