Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in software engineering.
- 5+ years of experience leading engineering teams, including managing engineering managers.
- Experience running multiple teams or product lines simultaneously.
- Demonstrated experience leading an AI transformation within an engineering organization.
- Strong proficiency with delivery and quality metrics such as DORA, defect rates, and SLA attainment.
- Proven experience in B2B SaaS, specifically with complex, integration-heavy, multi-tenant products.
- Familiarity with cloud/pod models and modern delivery tooling including Jira, CI/CD, and observability.
- Excellent cross-functional partnership and executive-level communication skills.
- Experience with spec-driven workflows or AI-assisted development practices.
Responsibilities
- Lead the AI transformation into a spec-driven development organization.
- Define and use delivery, quality, and reliability metrics to drive engineering decisions.
- Hold engineering teams accountable for clear commitments and delivery outcomes.
- Build a continuous-improvement culture through retrospectives and rising standards.
- Manage engineering managers across multiple product clouds (Assessment, Curriculum, Scheduling).
- Oversee sprint health, throughput, and execution against quarterly commitments.
- Drive improvements in quality metrics, including Change Failure Rate and Escaped Defect Rate.
- Partner with product, design, and customer-facing leadership to translate roadmaps into actionable plans.
