Requirements
- 8+ years of experience shipping production-grade systems.
- Proven experience building and maintaining AI agents with expertise in tool use, structured output, and evaluation.
- Strong backend engineering fundamentals with a focus on reliability, observability, and security.
- Ability to work independently, scoping and driving projects without detailed specifications.
- Proficiency in reading and improving existing codebases.
- Excellent communication skills for both real-time and asynchronous collaboration.
- Experience shipping meaningful user-facing features and monitoring performance.
- Comfort with ambiguity and early-stage product development.
- Familiarity with subscription business models, app stores, or developer tools is preferred.
- Experience with OpenAI/Anthropic APIs, Langfuse, Langchain, or similar observability frameworks is a plus.
- Experience with Slack integrations and open source AI/ML tooling is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Develop and improve AI agent infrastructure, including orchestration, tool execution, and context management.
- Ship agentic features to thousands of developers for managing subscription businesses.
- Partner with the Product team to define scope, prioritize features, and drive successful project rollouts.
- Contribute to architecture discussions and lead major technical initiatives.
- Mentor other engineers and perform high-quality code reviews.
- Maintain system reliability, observability, and security while debugging complex cross-stack issues.
- Collaborate directly with customers to understand product usage and inform technical improvements.
