Requirements
- 12+ years of experience building and operating large-scale distributed systems.
- Several years driving the architecture of platform or infrastructure products used by multiple teams.
- 2+ years hands-on experience taking LLM-based systems to production.
- Experience with model integration, routing, retrieval, agent architectures, and evaluation harnesses.
- Experience with cost, latency, and quality optimization for AI systems.
- Strong hands-on coding skills in a mainstream backend language such as Python or Go.
- Deep experience with Kubernetes and cloud infrastructure (AWS and/or GCP).
- Strong product acumen with experience building customer-facing products.
- Proven track record as a tech lead of cross-team initiatives with ambiguous requirements.
Responsibilities
- Define the technical vision and multi-year roadmap for SentinelOne's AI Platform in partnership with engineering leadership.
- Serve as the tech lead by owning architecture decisions, setting engineering standards, and reviewing critical designs.
- Support business-critical AI initiatives by translating business strategy into platform capabilities.
- Partner with product teams to build customer-facing AI experiences hands-on, then platformize those into reusable capabilities.
- Drive technology selection and build-vs-buy decisions for the platform's core stack.
- Mentor senior engineers across the organization and act as a recognized expert on AI infrastructure.
