Requirements
- 1.5+ years of software engineering experience.
- Proficiency in designing and launching backend systems at scale.
- Experience with Python, AWS, MySQL, and Kubernetes.
- Experience shipping web applications using declarative UI frameworks such as React.
- Experience designing and operating batch processing or asynchronous workloads (scheduled jobs, backfills).
- Ability to define technical plans for large-scale feature delivery.
- Experience making significant, safe changes in large codebases.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for global collaboration.
Responsibilities
- Own and deliver quarterly team goals while leading engineers through ambiguity.
- Collaborate with product management, design, and analytics on ideation and technical decision-making.
- Proactively identify and resolve technical, process, and business-related issues.
- Maintain team artifacts through monitoring, metrics, and on-call support.
- Foster a culture of quality by setting code review and design standards.
- Develop team talent through feedback, guidance, and mentorship.
