Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in Professional Services, Support, Technical Accounts Management, Engineering/SRE, or Project Management.
- 5+ years of relevant industry experience in implementing, operating, or supporting scalable, fault-tolerant, distributed DBMS.
- Technical breadth in DBMS, OLAP, Cloud/SaaS platforms, distributed systems software engineering, Linux/Unix, Kubernetes, and big data.
- Experience leading and shipping large scope technical projects in collaboration with multiple experienced engineers.
- Expertise with a public cloud provider (AWS, GCP, Azure) and their infrastructure as a service offerings.
- Strong communication skills for customer-facing engagements.
- Ability to travel up to 35% for regional onsite projects.
Responsibilities
- Serve as a team member on customer projects, focusing on design, architecture, integration, implementation, and documentation.
- Provide case-initiated consultative support to strategic users and prospects for implementations, launches, and Proof of Concepts.
- Handle support cases from L1 to L3 tiers when not assigned to larger projects.
- Partner with Product Management, Engineering, and Sales to contribute to product roadmaps and account plans.
- Develop technical content including documentation, Knowledge Base articles, and benchmark results.
- Assist with hiring and mentoring new team members.
- Deliver 24x7 support and participate in on-call rotations.
