Requirements
- Minimum of five years of relevant project management experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Demonstrated experience with food traceability is required.
- Operational knowledge of federal regulations, guidelines, and support technologies.
- Ability to plan projects using project management best practices, including requirements solicitation and WBS development.
- Skilled proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Word, Excel, Outlook, and Project.
- Experience using SharePoint for list/library management and file sharing.
- Strong skills in project cost control, estimating, negotiating, and business strategy.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for reporting and presentations.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Serve as Project Manager for the traceability Tech Team, overseeing the project life-cycle from inception to completion.
- Establish project plans, determine time frames and milestones, and schedule necessary meetings.
- Track progress and document project deliverables against set timelines.
- Keep senior leadership informed of progress, flag potential obstacles, and provide status reports.
- Support critical response efforts regarding supply chain and traceability capability development.
