Requirements
- 5+ years of professional experience in Power BI development (data modeling, DAX, performance optimization, visualization).
- Strong hands-on experience with Azure Data Factory, Azure Functions, and Azure DevOps (YAML pipelines).
- Excellent SQL skills and understanding of metadata-driven modeling.
- Ability to work closely with both business and technical stakeholders, shaping requirements and solution design.
- Experience with Databricks and PySpark is a major advantage.
- Ability to communicate in English on projects.
- Proactive mindset, excellent communication skills, and a passion for building high-quality data solutions.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deliver scalable, high-performance Power BI datasets and reports, leveraging Databricks (Gold layer) and SQL-based metadata.
- Work closely with business stakeholders to translate complex requirements into efficient and maintainable Power BI solutions.
- Optimize large-scale data models and refresh pipelines using incremental refresh, partitioning, and query folding.
- Maintain and enhance ADF pipelines, Azure Functions, and YAML-based CI/CD processes in Azure DevOps to support automated testing and deployment workflows.
- Ensure data quality, security (including RLS), and governance across the Power BI ecosystem.
- Collaborate in a cross-functional environment and support teammates in solving analytical and technical challenges.
