Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant industry experience.
- Successful experience as a Senior Mortgage Loan Processor or Junior Underwriter.
- Solid understanding of underwriting processes and lending systems.
- Strong knowledge of various loan products, credit reports, and debt-to-income ratios.
- Strong analytical thinking and decision-making skills with the ability to interpret and apply lending guidelines.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrated success working 100% remotely and collaborating with a distributed team.
- Strong organizational skills to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent experience.
Responsibilities
- Calculate Knock Bridge Loan advance amounts using internal calculations and guidelines.
- Accurately condition loan files based on the loan application and file documentation.
- Provide consistent internal communication regarding loan status and approval updates.
- Communicate effectively and professionally with external Lending Partners, Agents, and Borrowers.
- Review title reports and homeowners/flood insurance to ensure Knock’s lien position and security interest.
- Efficiently and effectively manage and process a daily pipeline of loans while maintaining company turn times.
- Understand and stay current with all company policies, procedures, industry regulations, and other changes.
