Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business, Information Technology, or equivalent professional experience.
- 7+ years of experience securing enterprise environments across on-premises, hybrid, and cloud infrastructures.
- Strong knowledge of secure software development lifecycles and DevSecOps methodologies.
- Understanding of secure coding principles and vulnerabilities, including OWASP Top 10 and API Security Top 10.
- Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and integrating security controls.
- Knowledge of identity and access management (IAM), authentication, OAuth, OpenID Connect, SAML, and Zero Trust.
- Familiarity with SIEM, EDR/XDR, PAM, CASB, DLP, and vulnerability management.
- Expertise in cloud security architecture on AWS and Azure platforms.
- Knowledge of cloud well-architected frameworks.
- Ability to translate regulatory obligations into technical architecture guidance.
- Experience in highly regulated environments such as healthcare.
- CISSP certification is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Establish secure software development standards and architectural security guidelines.
- Lead the security lifecycle for applications by evaluating emerging technologies and threats.
- Contribute to the Architectural Review Board to apply security-focused principles.
- Review application architecture and operational runbooks to identify security risks.
- Integrate security governance into CI/CD pipelines and development workflows.
- Conduct architecture risk assessments, threat modeling, and secure design reviews.
- Develop security reference architectures and reusable design patterns.
- Lead application security initiatives including SAST, DAST, and container security.
- Assess cloud services and third-party technologies for security and compliance risks.
- Mentor engineering teams on secure coding and cloud security practices.
