Requirements
- 10+ years of professional experience in software development and system architecture.
- Substantial experience operating at a senior technical or leadership level.
- Strong hands-on coding expertise with PHP and React.js.
- Solid experience developing and maintaining production web applications.
- Strong practical experience with AWS, including infrastructure design, deployment, configuration, and management.
- Deep understanding of scalable application architecture, RESTful APIs, system integration, and distributed systems.
- Strong knowledge of application security principles, including OWASP practices, IAM, and authentication.
- Experience implementing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines and automated testing practices.
- Comfortable working with Docker, Kubernetes, or comparable containerization technologies.
- Proficiency with Git and modern version control workflows.
- Excellent communication, technical decision-making, and leadership skills.
Responsibilities
- Lead the engineering team while remaining hands-on with the design, development, and delivery of web applications using Laravel, PHP, and React.js.
- Define and evolve scalable, secure, and maintainable system architectures, ensuring solutions can support business and product growth.
- Design, deploy, and manage AWS infrastructure while promoting cloud-native engineering practices and operational reliability.
- Establish and maintain strong development standards around code quality, architecture, testing, security, and technical documentation.
- Guide the implementation and maintenance of RESTful APIs, system integrations, and distributed application components.
- Drive CI/CD practices and automated delivery processes to improve development efficiency, reliability, and release quality.
- Mentor and support engineers through technical guidance, code reviews, architectural decisions, and problem-solving.
