Requirements

  • 1+ years of experience in basic, translational, or clinical cancer biology.
  • Hands-on experience with multi-omic tumor data analysis.
  • Proficiency in somatic/germline variant calling and interpretation (WES/WGS/panel; MAF/VCF).
  • Experience with copy-number/structural-variant analysis and mutational signatures.
  • Proficiency in bulk and single-cell RNA-seq, including cell-state annotation and subtyping.
  • Proficiency in Python and/or R (Scanpy, Seurat, GSEA, CIBERSORTx, PyClone).
  • Understanding of cancer-genomics standards (AMP/ASCO/CAP, ACMG/AMP, ESCAT, OncoKB).
  • Ability to distinguish biological signals from pipeline or annotation artifacts.
  • Strong written communication regarding technical decisions and uncertainty.

Responsibilities

  • Identify real-world cancer biology datasets for benchmark development.
  • Develop rigorous, deterministically-graded tasks for AI agent evaluation.
  • Establish defensible reference analyses and scoring criteria for various conclusion types.
  • Test AI agent performance against experimental variability and incomplete data.
  • Analyze and integrate multi-omic tumor data for clinical decision benchmarking.
  • Evaluate agent reasoning on mechanism-driven tradeoffs and biological data interpretation.
