Requirements
- 7+ years of product or UX design experience with a record of shipping data-intensive products.
- Experience in analytics, BI, SaaS, financial, or healthcare environments.
- Strong UX and visual design fundamentals.
- Expertise in designing data-dense interfaces, dashboards, reporting, and complex analytical workflows.
- Strong product design thinking and ability to influence product strategy.
- Hands-on expertise with Figma.
- Proficiency in user research and testing methods.
- Experience with product analytics or research tools such as Pendo, Sigma, or Maze.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to balance customer needs, business objectives, and technical constraints.
- High bar for craft, consistency, accessibility, and usability.
- Ability to navigate complex multi-tenant environments and legacy systems.
Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end product design for Analytics, translating complex data, reporting requirements, and business workflows into intuitive and actionable experiences.
- Partner with Product and Engineering to define problems, identify opportunities, and transform needs into clear experiences.
- Influence Analytics vision and strategy by bringing a strong customer perspective and systems thinking.
- Establish scalable interaction models and reusable patterns that balance usability, discoverability, and depth.
- Create a cohesive Analytics ecosystem by reducing fragmentation and developing consistent mental models.
- Leverage and extend the Design System to deliver accessible, consistent, and scalable experiences.
- Conduct and synthesize research with practice owners and teams to identify actionable improvements.
- Evaluate effectiveness and identify friction using product analytics tools to inform iterative improvements.
- Partner with Engineering to preserve design intent, interaction quality, and accessibility through implementation.
- Champion design quality through critiques, strategy, and mentorship of the design practice.
