Requirements
- Significant solo long-form writing experience.
- Proven ability to ship quality work end-to-end independently.
- Ability to interview technical and founder-level sources effectively.
- Strong ability to synthesize multiple viewpoints on deeply technical topics.
- Clear and direct writing style capable of making complex concepts approachable.
- Deep knowledge of crypto, derivatives, options, and tokenized assets.
- Strong understanding of blockchain market structure and emerging applications.
- Experience with self-directed research and editorial processes.
- Proactive approach to developing outlines and securing alignment.
Responsibilities
- Pitch and refine 8-10 story ideas per week in collaboration with leadership.
- Interview team members and external experts to gather insights on relevant topics.
- Write and publish original long-form content on a weekly or bi-weekly cadence.
- Manage and maintain publishing on Substack, X/Twitter, and other channels.
- Maintain a living editorial calendar.
- Develop explainer content such as onboarding guides and network overviews.
- Author strategy and narrative-focused pieces regarding architecture decisions and market structure.
- Produce applied research and long-form analysis on blockchain and DeFi topics.
- Facilitate distribution and coordination with external contributors.
