Requirements
- Strong test automation skills with a track record of designing test strategy.
- Deep, practical understanding of the SDLC.
- Proven experience writing test cases and test plans.
- Hands-on experience with integration, system, regression, and stress/performance testing.
- Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong communication skills for working with developers.
- Strong experience with Python, JS/TS.
- Familiarity with open-source testing tools like Playwright, Cypress, pytest, k6, or Locust.
Responsibilities
- Own the test strategy end-to-end across the SDLC.
- Build and own test coverage on top of established open-source testing tools and integrate into CI/CD pipelines.
- Write clear, maintainable test cases and test plans.
- Plan and run integration, system, regression, and stress/load/performance testing.
- Partner with developers to define acceptance criteria and shift testing left.
- Triage failures and drive root-cause analysis on escaped defects.
- Report quality signals like coverage, flake rate, and escaped defects.
