Requirements
- Fluent or native-level proficiency in both Thai and English, written and spoken.
- Must be willing to work at least 4 hours per day, 5 days a week.
- Strong written communication skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently in a fully remote setting.
- Good organizational and time management skills.
- Currently enrolled in or graduate of a degree in Communication, Languages, Translation, English, Linguistics or a relevant field (for interns).
- 1-3 years of experience in Thai-English translation (for experienced translators).
- Interest in insurance, technology or insurtech is preferred.
- Familiarity with tools such as Google Workspace, Jira or Confluence is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Translate project documentation between Thai and English, including business requirements, user stories, test cases, user manuals, training materials and release notes.
- Work hand in hand with Business Analysts and Project Managers to ensure requirements from Thai-speaking clients are accurately captured.
- Join client meetings, workshops and demos to provide live interpretation and note-taking.
- Support written communication with Thai clients, including emails, meeting minutes, and follow-ups.
- Review and localize product and platform content for Thai users to ensure consistency.
- Build and maintain a Thai–English glossary of insurance and technical terms.
- Assist with general project coordination and administrative support for Thai projects.
