Requirements
- 8+ years of professional software engineering experience.
- 2+ years leading engineering teams or technical delivery.
- Strong experience building modern Enterprise SaaS products.
- Solid understanding of software architecture and system design.
- Knowledge of cloud-native applications (AWS preferred).
- Experience with modern development practices, CI/CD, and automated testing.
- Strong understanding of Agile product development.
- Ability to review code and technical designs.
- Excellent planning, estimation, and delivery management skills.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Ability to balance business priorities with engineering quality.
Responsibilities
- Own engineering delivery, planning, estimation, and execution for the product pod.
- Partner with the pod owner to review PRDs, identify gaps, edge cases, and technical risks.
- Lead technical discussions, challenge assumptions, and validate implementation approaches.
- Drive predictable delivery while balancing speed, quality, and technical debt.
- Enforce engineering best practices, including code reviews, testing, documentation, observability, and security.
- Ensure production quality by driving root cause analysis and preventing recurring issues.
- Mentor engineers, improve engineering discipline, and foster a culture of ownership.
- Collaborate with QA, Design, and DevOps teams to remove blockers.
- Perform technical research for the pod on behalf of the pod owner.
