Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or Technology Diploma in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Controls Engineering (or equivalent).
- Extensive experience deploying and supporting complex software in mission-critical environments.
- Scripting or programming proficiency in Python, PowerShell, or similar languages.
- Working knowledge of Windows Server and network administration.
- Familiarity with SQL, relational databases, and time series databases.
- Ability to translate operational feedback into concrete software logic changes.
- Experience writing technical specification documents and reports.
- Ability to travel nationally and internationally up to 10% of the time.
Responsibilities
- Deploy, integrate, and operate software in live process control environments until production use.
- Configure and ship integrations, data flows, and state machine logic for site-specific systems.
- Commission, test, and validate solutions in customer environments, driving technical issues to resolution.
- Feed field learnings, reusable connectors, and product gaps back to internal engineering and product teams.
- Coordinate third-party commissioning and installation personnel while maintaining accountability for technical outcomes.
- Work with operators to define success metrics and capture evidence of adoption and customer outcomes.
- Apply knowledge of pipeline operations and hydraulic modeling to build solutions that fit real operating processes.
- Execute Windows server configuration, OPC server setup, and HMI design in SCADA environments.
