Requirements
- Several years of global payroll implementation experience with statutory tax regulations.
- Several years of technical payroll implementation setup experience on local payroll software.
- Excellent understanding of end-to-end global payroll and HR processes.
- Experience in payroll operations and statutory requirements.
- Proven experience in accounting reconciliations.
- Excellent data management skills with high accuracy and attention to detail.
- Experience handling multiple projects with multiple stakeholders.
- Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities.
- Proficiency in using Google Sheets or Excel.
- Ability to work effectively in a MacBook Pro environment.
- Fluent in spoken and written English.
- Ability to work largely asynchronously.
Responsibilities
- Serve as a primary point of contact for Payroll customers to manage their transition to Remote’s payroll products.
- Analyze customers’ payroll needs and provide recommendations for system configuration.
- Obtain and verify required customer and employee payroll data per legal entity.
- Coordinate parallel payroll runs and reconcile wage-based taxes.
- Verify payroll and tax configurations are compliant with local statutory regulations.
- Communicate payroll Go-Live milestones and hand over accounts to the Payroll Operations team.
- Provide support and training to new customers regarding payroll processes and country-specific needs.
- Maintain confidentiality of all customer and employee information.
- Collaborate with internal teams to improve the platform and perform UAT testing.
