- Exceptional attention to detail sustained over a full workday.
- Ability to work with German-language tender documents and web interfaces.
- Willingness to learn 30–50 recurring construction and document terms.
- Solid written English skills for reporting to an engineering team.
- Basic technical confidence with web applications, ZIP archives, PDFs, and screenshots.
- Competency using Slack for team communication.
- Reliable high-speed internet and power backup plan.
- Quiet, dedicated workspace for concentration.
- Ability to overlap daily with European working hours (starting by 2pm PHT).
- Self-motivated temperament suitable for structured remote work.
Responsibilities
- Search Swiss and German public tender platforms for construction tender invitations.
- Identify and download relevant bills of quantities (Leistungsverzeichnis) from tender packages.
- Submit documents into the internal system and maintain submission records.
- Review extracted data, verifying line-item positions, quantities, and units of measure.
- Identify and document system errors, including page-break splits, missed positions, and sub-position miscounts.
- Report failures to the engineering team with page references, screenshots, and concise descriptions.
