Requirements
- 10+ years of relevant SAP experience, particularly with UK SAP HR/Payroll, Personnel Administration, Time Management, and Organisation Management.
- 5+ years of hands-on implementation experience in the UK with at least two full life-cycle implementations.
- 5+ years of direct support of application end-users in a corporate environment.
- Extensive knowledge of SAP Payroll configuration, statutory regulations, PCR and schema, and payroll/finance integration.
- Expertise in SAP 4.x and ECC, including configuration and administration.
- Strong knowledge of key application functionality, tables, and relationships.
- Ability to debug and triage support case issues within HR ABAP code.
- Fluent in English (speaking/reading/writing).
- Experience with UK Local Government payroll, including Multiple Employment, LGPS, and Teachers Pension.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field or equivalent professional experience.
Responsibilities
- Solve customer issues using methodical troubleshooting based on expert knowledge of SAP HR/Payroll functionality.
- Work closely with customers to understand their needs and deliver high-quality support.
- Provide support for SAP Payroll, Time Management configuration, UK/Ireland statutory regulations, and payroll/finance integration.
- Support UK Local Government issues including LGPS, Teachers Pension, RTI, and EOY.
- Develop application break fixes for critical product defects.
- Help clients analyze and correct data issues.
- Manage key assigned accounts as a technical/functional advisor.
- Contribute to the development of knowledge-sharing methodologies and diagnostic tools.
