Job Details

Proficiency in classical and modern ABAP language syntax and development principles.
Deep expertise in ABAP Objects: interfaces, inheritance, class-based exceptions, and design patterns.
Strong ABAP Dictionary skills: transparent tables, views, data elements, domains, and search helps.
Hands-on experience with RFC, asynchronous processing, enqueue locking, and shared memory objects.
Experience with HTTP/REST integration and parsing JSON/XML payloads.
Performance-focused development experience, including Open SQL and internal table handling at scale.
Solid understanding of core computer engineering principles: data structures, modularity, and encapsulation.
Experience managing the full SDLC: development, testing, transport, and production support.
Familiarity with SAP security concepts, including authorization objects and injection prevention.
Ability to write clean, readable, and maintainable code.

Deliver new features and enhancements with clean, annotated, and secure ABAP code.
Own the full software development lifecycle, including unit testing, integration testing, and transport management.
Participate in active code reviews, providing and receiving constructive feedback.
Provide technical escalation support for complex customer issues, translating problems into actionable defects.
Develop documentation and tooling to reduce the frequency and cost of future technical escalations.
Perform root cause analysis and implement process improvements for production defects.
Contribute to knowledge sharing and stay current with modern ABAP practices like RAP and Cloud development.
