Requirements
- B.Tech / M.Tech / M.Sc. / PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Signal Processing, or a related field.
- 4+ years of experience in machine learning/deep learning engineering with production experience.
- Significant hands-on work in speech/audio and/or computer vision.
- Proficiency in PyTorch (primary) and TensorFlow/Keras; JAX knowledge is a plus.
- Deep expertise in speech/audio toolkits like Wav2Vec 2.0, Whisper, ESPnet, SpeechBrain, torchaudio, and librosa.
- Background in CV pipelines using tools like YOLO, DETR, ViT, EfficientNet, SAM, OpenCV, and torchvision.
- Experience with inference optimization tools: TensorRT, ONNX Runtime, TorchScript, DeepSpeed, or Triton Inference Server.
- Strong Python development skills and software engineering fundamentals (OOP, clean code, testing, CI/CD).
- Proficiency in SQL for data extraction and pipeline logging.
- Experience with distributed training frameworks (DDP, FSDP) and large-scale data pipelines.
- Familiarity with cloud ML platforms (AWS SageMaker, GCP Vertex AI, Azure ML) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
Responsibilities
- Research, design, train, and productionize deep learning models for speech/audio and computer vision use cases.
- Architect training pipelines for large-scale datasets, including data preprocessing and versioning.
- Select and adapt state-of-the-art architectures and fine-tune models for production constraints.
- Optimize models for inference targeting latency, throughput, and memory budgets on hardware.
- Integrate models into production systems and design APIs and microservices for model serving.
- Define evaluation benchmarks, monitor production performance, and drive continuous improvement.
