Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent practical experience.
- 8+ years of experience in technology consulting, digital transformation, or solution delivery.
- Significant recent experience applying AI in production environments beyond prototypes.
- Direct experience working with health plans, payers, or managed-care organizations.
- Strong understanding of payer operational workflows.
- Practical expertise with LLMs, RAG, workflow automation, and agentic AI patterns.
- Experience designing and implementing AI solutions in regulated environments.
- Understanding of privacy, security, HIPAA compliance, and responsible AI practices.
- Strong solution architecture and enterprise system integration skills.
- Ability to advise executive stakeholders and communicate complex concepts clearly.
- Experience supporting business development and client-facing pre-sales.
- Proven ability to coordinate cross-functional teams and technology partners.
Responsibilities
- Serve as a trusted AI advisor to healthcare clients and payer organizations to identify high-value AI and automation opportunities.
- Lead discovery sessions and solution-design workshops to translate operational challenges into actionable AI use cases.
- Guide AI initiatives from strategy and discovery through pilot, implementation, and production deployment.
- Design AI-powered solutions for payer workflows including utilization management, claims processing, and member services.
- Develop solutions incorporating LLMs, RAG, workflow automation, and agentic AI orchestration.
- Define solution architectures that integrate AI capabilities with existing enterprise systems.
- Establish governance models, human-in-the-loop controls, and responsible AI practices for regulated healthcare environments.
- Coordinate cross-functional delivery teams and technology vendors.
- Support business development, pre-sales activities, and RFP responses.
- Monitor success metrics and communicate business impact to executive stakeholders.
