Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of experience in software engineering, machine learning engineering, or a related technical field.
- 3+ years of professional experience with Python and software development best practices.
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with generative AI and large language models.
- Experience with AWS Bedrock, Amazon SageMaker, Docker, JupyterLab, and AI-powered OCR.
- Familiarity with APIs, cloud platforms, databases, version control, and CI/CD practices.
- Strong understanding of machine learning concepts, data preparation, and model evaluation.
- Ability to obtain a medium-level Government Public Trust security background check.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and deploy AI and machine learning applications that solve business and customer problems.
- Build generative AI solutions using large language models, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), AI agents, embeddings, and prompt engineering.
- Integrate AI capabilities into existing products, platforms, and business workflows.
- Develop data pipelines and supporting services for model training, evaluation, and inference.
- Establish evaluation frameworks to assess model accuracy, reliability, safety, latency, and cost.
- Monitor AI applications in production and continuously improve their performance, scalability, and reliability.
- Implement responsible AI practices covering privacy, security, bias mitigation, and appropriate human oversight.
