Requirements
- 5+ years of experience leading operations within residential private lending, mortgage banking, bridge lending, hard money, or RTL environments.
- Proven experience managing multi-disciplinary operations teams.
- Deep understanding of the residential loan lifecycle.
- Demonstrated ability to improve operational efficiency through systems, technology, automation, or process redesign.
- Comfortable working directly with software engineers to define and prioritize internal technology improvements.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Must be able and willing to travel frequently to the Lakeland, FL office.
- Analytical and detail-oriented mindset with a focus on systems thinking.
- Experience with proprietary lending platforms is preferred.
- Experience with AI implementation or workflow automation is preferred.
- Advanced experience with Monday.com or similar workflow platforms is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Oversee operational execution for the entire loan lifecycle from submission through funding.
- Improve communication, accountability, and process visibility across processing, underwriting, closing, and servicing departments.
- Design and implement scalable workflows to eliminate bottlenecks and reduce operational friction.
- Collaborate with the engineering team to translate operational needs into software features, automation, and AI-driven enhancements.
- Coach and develop department leaders while establishing clear KPIs and performance scorecards.
- Refine SOPs and operational reporting to drive improvements in speed, quality, and profitability.
