Requirements
- Extensive experience building and running production Azure environments.
- Deep expertise in Azure networking: VNets, subnets, private endpoints, private DNS zones, NSGs, UDRs, NAT, and load balancing.
- Proficiency with Terraform on Azure, including workspaces, migrations, imports, and remote backends.
- Experience with Azure delivery tools: Azure Container Registry, VM Scale Sets, and CI/CD via Azure DevOps or GitHub.
- Knowledge of Azure data services such as Postgres Flexible Server, managed Redis, and Blob storage.
- Proficiency with Entra ID and RBAC, including app registrations, service principals, and scoped role assignments.
- Ability to communicate complex technical plans clearly in writing and through runbooks.
- Ability to maintain composure and provide technical guidance during live production incidents.
Responsibilities
- Design and stand up new Azure platforms from scratch, including network, compute, and data architecture.
- Build and maintain reusable Terraform foundations adapted for client-specific environments.
- Execute high-risk migrations, manage runbooks, and perform platform cutovers with rollback strategies.
- Maintain platform health through provider upgrades, security hardening, and drift management.
- Advise client DevOps teams on platform operations, troubleshooting, and CI/CD deployments.
