Requirements
- 4+ years of backend engineering experience with demonstrated ownership.
- Strong experience with Kotlin and/or Java.
- Solid working knowledge of AWS, PostgreSQL, and ECS.
- Experience building consumer-facing systems at real transaction volumes.
- Fluent Portuguese language skills.
- Advanced English (C1) proficiency for international collaboration.
- Comfortable using AI-powered development tools like Claude.
- Experience in fintech, lending, payments, or a regulated environment is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Build and scale the backend systems behind salary advance, FGTS, and consignado lending with a focus on reliability and correctness.
- Develop and refine the APIs that power an instant in-app experience.
- Work on the integrations that make payroll-linked and FGTS lending function.
- Collaborate directly with product, credit, compliance, and analytics teams to shape the technical work.
- Contribute to code reviews, technical discussions, and team standards around quality, security, and operational excellence.
- Mentor junior engineers and promote a collaborative team environment.
