Requirements
- Professional experience developing software with Java 8 and Spring Boot.
- Practical understanding of backend programming concepts and experience with APIs and web services.
- Experience or familiarity with Python, including backend frameworks such as Flask or Django.
- Ability to understand, develop, maintain, and troubleshoot backend systems and services.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with focus on application health and reliability.
- Ability to work autonomously while collaborating effectively with a technical team.
- Curiosity and willingness to learn new technologies and approaches.
- Familiarity with React is a plus for full-stack contributions.
- Knowledge of Git, Web APIs, Domain-Driven Design (DDD), and AWS is desirable.
- Experience with agile methodologies is an advantage.
Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and enhance software systems using Java 8 and Spring Boot following development best practices.
- Contribute to the development of a new technology platform for a major client in the insurance sector.
- Build and integrate APIs and backend services to support reliable and scalable application functionality.
- Monitor the health, stability, and performance of services to identify issues and improvement opportunities.
- Investigate technical problems and contribute to solutions that improve system performance.
- Collaborate with other developers and stakeholders in a dynamic, results-oriented environment.
- Participate in continuous technical improvement and adopt good engineering practices.
- Support agile development practices throughout the software development lifecycle.
