Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, computer science, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical product management experience.
  • At least 3 years of experience in product management and/or product design.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex initiatives from initiation through completion.
  • Experience managing products through the full delivery lifecycle, from roadmap planning and requirements definition through release and ongoing improvement.
  • Demonstrated experience defining and implementing product metrics to evaluate performance and success.
  • Strong understanding of Agile software delivery and experience working effectively with Scrum teams.
  • Strong backlog and roadmap management skills, with the ability to prioritize competing requirements.
  • Proven ability to influence product, engineering, and cross-functional business teams through strong communication, collaboration, and earned leadership.
  • Ability to simplify and clearly communicate complex business, technical, and operational problems to diverse audiences.
  • Exceptional verbal, written, and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

  • Translate commercial insurance product strategies into scalable technology roadmaps, aligning priorities with regulatory deadlines, business objectives, and system dependencies.
  • Own and communicate assigned roadmap initiatives, keeping stakeholders informed of progress, dependencies, risks, trade-offs, and delivery considerations.
  • Drive effective Agile/Scrum practices by maintaining backlog health, ensuring sprint readiness, clarifying roles, and supporting predictable delivery across teams.
  • Develop clear, high-quality product requirements, including epics, user stories, acceptance criteria, and traceability to product, R&D, and compliance documentation.
  • Partner with engineering and program management teams to plan releases, assess technical feasibility, identify cross-domain impacts, and proactively reduce delivery risks.
  • Manage backlog priorities while balancing regulatory accuracy, operational readiness, customer experience, platform stability, performance, and competing business needs.
  • Define and monitor product metrics that measure performance, adoption, delivery outcomes, and overall product success.
