Requirements

- Ability to provide cultural competency and assess regional/accent differences.
- Capability to operate keyboard, mouse, and computer systems.
- Access to a quiet, secure workspace free from background noise.
- Dedicated personal device (Windows, MacOS, ChromeOS, iPadOS, or Android).
- High-speed internet connection (min 5 Mbps download, 3 Mbps upload, <300ms ping, <30ms jitter).
Responsibilities
- Respond to interpreting sessions promptly and conduct interpretation in a friendly and professional manner.
- Render correct concepts and meanings according to established interpretation protocol, avoiding omissions or additions.
- Speak clearly in both languages using proper pronunciation, enunciation, and polite expressions.
- Maintain a professional demeanor throughout interpreting sessions at all times.
- Remain calm during sessions, including high-stress emergency calls such as 911.
- Follow client instructions and maintain protocol to ensure expectations are met.
- Maintain punctuality and availability during scheduled work hours.
