Responsibilities
- Write SQL-like queries to extract insights from large datasets stored in BigQuery.
- Import and export data using Cloud Storage, Pub/Sub, and data transfer services.
- Perform data preprocessing, cleaning, and normalization using BigQuery SQL.
- Design and maintain logical data models, schemas, partitions, and clustering strategies.
- Analyze query execution plans to identify bottlenecks and optimize performance.
- Build end-to-end data pipelines by integrating GCP services like Dataflow and Cloud Composer.
- Monitor BigQuery job performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement security measures.
- Document technical specifications and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders.
